    Follow Herring Street "Sillgatan" where, as early as the 1850s, people walked from the railway station to the harbor where the boats left for America. Everything would be fixed here, ticket, clothes, maybe something strong to calm the nerves.

    Ornunga old church - The church was built around 1230. The last renovation was done in 1790. The plan was to demolish the church in 1906, but luckily it was saved.

    The Karl-Oskar house - Karl-Oskar and Kristina's house from the latest recording of Vilhelm Moberg The Emigrants from 2020.

    Ekehagen - Ancient Village- A open-air archaeological museum, and one of the largest ancient villages in Scandinavia! Along the beautiful natural path through the village, you will find settlements with houses and huts from the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages.

    Åsle Tå - Sweden's largest collection of small old cabins. They are located in their original locations, along the gently meandering street– a unique historical environment from the 18th and 19th centuries.

  • Day 7: Tuesday

    Ekornavallen - A unique environment with graves from different eras on the same surface. There is a difference of 4,000 years between the oldest and the youngest grave. At Ekornavallen there are graves that cover a time span from around 3300 BC. to the Viking Age, approximately 800–1050 AD.
